ALL TOGETHER

We move all together, like a mob

seeking our rhyme

one so polite ambition

has become our life’s goal.

We change with sounds and syllables

the emotions in our paper hearts

we publish our poems

that we’re called poets

we let our hair and our ties flow

in the air and we pose.

We consider unbearable prose

the company of good people.

All god’s creations are for us

and nature, of course

we have climbed up to the stars

that we send reports to Earth

and hungry we toil all day long

spending our nights under bridges

we have become atonement sacrifices

of the environment and times
