MOVEMENT OF INFORMATION
When the Athenians were defeated in Syracuse,
quite naturally, no one in China heard of it
as it is normal that my neighbor never learns
of the destruction taking place next to him.
I also find it natural that I’m the last to learn
of the unfortunate things that take place inside me.
Despite all the technological progress
millions of Beijing citizens, my innumerable
neighbors and I are the last ones to hear the news.
