Το κλεφτοφάναρο παραμονεύει
δυο σπασμένα χέρια
και το κομμμένο πόδι δεν ήξερες
αν είναι το δικό σου.
Τότε είταν που σμίξαμε κάτου
απ’ το μεγάλο τοίχο
δρασκελώντας καθένας μονάχος του
ετούτο το κομμένο πόδι που ήταν δικό μας.

The flashlight glows onto
two broken arms
and you couldn’t tell whether
the broken leg was yours.
It was when we met
under the big wall
each of us straddling
that broken leg that belonged to us.
