AUTUMN LEAVES

ΧΟΧΛΑΔΙ

 

Πλακουτσό χοχλάδι

μπροστά σου στρογγυλό

 

λείο σαν απαλός ψίθυρος

στα χείλη της αγαπημένης

 

το παίρνεις

γράφεις τ’ όνομά της στη μια μεριά

στην άλλη το δικό σου

 

ώρα να το πετάξεις

στην ακύμαντη θάλασσα

 

μα είσαι στο άλσος

κι η θάλασσα μίλλια μακρυά

 

στη μικρή λίμνη του πάρκου το πετάς

και με συνοδεία

την πιο καλή σου ευχή

 

 

PEBBLE

 

Flat pebble

before you circular

 

smooth like

a soft whisper

on a pair of loving lips

 

you pick it up

write her name on one side

yours on the other

 

time to skip it on

glassy surface of sea

 

but you are strolling in the park

far away waits the sea

 

the pebble you skip

onto the surface of the pond

sending along

your best wish
