ΖΥΓΟΣ

Ἐπίσημη ξένη καί ὡραία πού γυμνώνεις
τό χαῖρε
καί τόν ἥλιο ὡς τό κόκκαλο,
πού σπέρνεις τήν πλευρά τῆς χίμαιρας.
Σέ χαιρετοῦν
σάν ἀνοίγουν οἱ ὧρες μας
μέ τά φτερά τῶν ἀνέμων μαρμαίροντα
μέ τά τραγούδια στά γενέθλια τῆς θάλασσας.
Σε χαιρετοῦν
σάν βουλιάζουν οἱ πόθοι μας
διάττοντες γλάροι στήν κλεψύδρα τοῦ γέλιου σου,
ἐθελοντές τοῦ πανάρχαιου ἔπους
μέ τά κύκλια γυρίσματα.
Ἐπίσημη ξένη καί ὡραία
καλῶς μᾶς κόπιασες ὡς νά κοπάσεις.

Solemn and beautiful stranger
you who undresses
the salute and the sun to the bone
who sows the side of a daydream.
Our hours as they unfold
salute you
with feathers of winds they gleam
with songs during the sea’s birthday.
They salute you
as our lust sinks
shooting stars-seagulls
in the hourglass of your laughter
volunteers of the ancient epic
with its circular returns.
Solemn and beautiful stranger
welcome till you exhaust yourself.
