Lonely hair dances
in a serene rhythm
middle finger searches
for anonymity hidden
in spasmodic breaths
of moist air under
your bed sheet and the cricket
insists to mimic your sounds
comparing them to that foggy light
that stays trapped quite erotically
between your legs and you said—
touch me now touch me here
where my blood shivers by delight

From ‘Vortex’, a new collection of poetry by Manolis, to be launched in Autumn 2011.
